Homeowners reported substantial frozen pellets measuring up to seven centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that multiple regions across the state had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

During the peak on Sunday, in excess of 28,000 energy customers in the state were experiencing outages.

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along much of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to pull in damp air against the shoreline.
Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with continued thunderstorm potential anticipated across various areas of both areas.
