I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
